Effective Pest Control in Food Manufacturing

Practical workshop for food and drink businesses

Food Centre Wales, in collaboration with the British Pest Control Association (BPCA), invites you to a practical, in depth workshop focused on effective pest control in food manufacturing environments.

This one day event is designed for Production Managers, Technical and QA Managers, HACCP team members, and Engineering and Maintenance staff. It will provide clear, practical guidance on meeting regulatory, audit and retailer expectations.

What the workshop will cover

The workshop will explore key pest control challenges within food manufacturing sites, including:

  • Pest risks specific to food manufacturing environments
  • Legal, audit and technical standards including BRCGS, SALSA and retailer expectations
  • Factory design, zoning and pest prevention
  • Monitoring systems, data trending and contractor management
  • Managing and responding to pest incidents in production areas

Delivery and format

Sessions will be delivered by experienced industry specialists from BPCA and independent pest consultancy organisations. There will be opportunities for discussion, questions and networking throughout the day.
